  1. Sonic OVA Japanese Set, $150 OBO

    09 November 2011 - 04:52 AM

I'm trying to raise money for a plane ticket ASAP to take a trip to see my special someone during my upcoming Winter break.

I'm selling my Sonic OVA Japanese VHS set here on eBay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/170726083707

Just putting it here in case there might be someone interested in it. Each tape was originally around $51 in 1996, so given their age and the scarcity of the items, the price I've given them isn't unreasonable.

If someone here ends up wanting them, let me know and we can use invoices through PayPal instead, because I'd rather not have eBay take out a percentage from this auction. :ohdear:

  2. Sonic Retro Retrocast No.3

    01 February 2010 - 11:13 AM

We're a bit late, but here it is, for your listening pleasure! Sonic Retro Retrocast No. 3! We've got a slew of things to talk about this time around, as we cover some exciting site news as well as the latest buzz around the community regarding Project Needlemouse.

We discuss the games of Sonicmases past, including Sonic Adventure and the game that might have taken it's place. There's even a special contest being held that you've just gotta get in on!

So pull up a chair and grab a snack, this week's topics are as follows:

The Sonic Retro Wiki – The home stretch! We can do it!

Sonic Adventure – The hype, the production, the legend.

Sonic Xtreme – I hear you have a leak somewhere..

Project Needlemouse – Sonic and the Secret Codenames.

Sonic's Chilidog Recipe – Sonic saves his friends to cook them in the end!

    BAM! Retrocast No. 3
  3. Favorite Sonic game, and why?

    02 August 2009 - 09:45 PM

Since the last topic of the same name was about 5 years ago, I thought I'd make it again.

Sonic CD has to be my all-time favorite, because, to me, it feels as if the essence of what Sonic was really meant to be was perfectly captured. It was his creator's game, after all. The series has always had a mystical or magical element to the games, and it felt even more present in Sonic CD. Coming in close second is Sonic 2, and after that, Sonic Adventure.
