Uberham, if you're so sure that it's possible, could you please put a video on youtube? I must have failed at least 500 times trying to do that, no such luck.

And since it's my last post, I'll now explain it, OK?
Basically, near the boss there is an invisible wall to prevent you from going to the right. With the superglide, however, Knuckles can go beyond that wall. If you activate the boss from that position, and then glide back to the left, you can then go to the lasers and pose for the screenshot.

By superglide I mean jumping on an enemy and gliding a split-second before killing it. You'll bounce extremely high before gliding.

So the answer to "How did I get out?" is "By never going in".

OK, Sik, if you're so angry, I may change the rules so that guessing the previous screenshot is not mandatory.

What do you mean by "screen wrap"? It can't be the vertical wrap bug, because Wing Fortress doesn't loop vertically.

As a hint: this is ONLY possible with Knuckles. Not with Sonic nor with Tails.

Yeah, glitch galore. Not hoaxing the images themselves. And if you can get an impossible looking situation WITHOUT glitches... hell do it.
I remember getting Knuckles into Sonic's section of the level on Mushroom Hill 1 when trying to do a no ring run. Couldn't do again though.

I kinda like the idea of figuring out glitches, and such a topic can make you better on finding different tricks.

Holy fuck Stealth, I don't know ANYTHING about coding, so I can't judge at that, but the sheer ACCURACY of this port just blowed me away, to a galaxy far far away and then some!!
First I hear the perfect music. This quite frankly startled me already, cause I can be pretty bitchy about perfect music renditions, so um... I just HAD to try oddball stuff in this.
OK. I then try some different kinds of iffy slope jumps. They work exactly as they did.
OK. Down loop jump, as it's the only loop jump I can actually DO. :P Perfect!
OK. A weird something I call "magical speed boost" as it's the only way I can describe it. IT WORKS.
This is awesome, and with exception of the low resolution of GBA and the "VisualBoyAdvance" I felt as if I was playing the original 16-bit game on Sega Genesis. Awesome.
