EDIT - You got me Lanzer

A new trailer—a new gameplay trailer of that with a hodgepodge of all different kinds of areas, including Aquatic Park in motion for the first time. There's a piece in that that, if I didn't know any better, looked like a space-like Hot Shelter.

I played some Sweet Mountain at New York Comic Con this weekend and though it's visually like Unleashed IMO, the game plays really well, even with the Nunchuk/Wiimote setup. They're fools not to bring this to the HD consoles.

I can't believe this thread. They make new stages, change acceleration, add a world map, and then people say things like "they're not putting in any effort".

You can hate the changes but Christ saying they're not putting in effort is just ignorant.

Every time we see something new you act like nothing happened because it wasn't what you wanted to see.

I'm there with a lot of people in saying Casino Street is much improved.

However, did anyone catch what Balough said in the Joystiq preview? How in bringing back the Casino style zone, they really wanted to "bring that to the consumers?"

"Consumers?" I recognize he says "players" later on in the preview, but...that's his mentality? Or is that the overall mentality?

I think that's part of the image problem—that attitude, that borderline arrogance, that we've suddenly degenerated from dedicated, patient fans to "consumers?" I recognize this is a business in the end, but for God's sake, at least try to make it appear you're listening to the fans like you said you were.

If it matters to anyone, here is what one of SOA's veeps told me ultimately caused Sonic 4's delay.

I know Aaron was very direct in saying what changes stemmed from the delay, but those directives ultimately had to be born out of something—and it appears a bad round of focus group testing was that something.

I certainly have my opinions as to whether Sega would have went ahead with the Summer release had those results turned out more positive and how wise that would have been. I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

    Anyway, are these new?

As of this morning, yes, but as of now, so is this--the Sweet Mountain DS boss direct from TGS.

    Ahoy, matey.

(Also, glem, please don't direct link to imagery on my site, pretty pretty please sad.png )

    Here--have some clean DS footage.

I can certainly appreciate the portable edition's efforts to stay as true to its Wii counterpart as possible, even in the solely 2D environment. It should be a nice complement, even if it is being passed off as Sonic Rush evolved or some such thing.
