Yay! Im glad retro is back up, it felt empty without it this past week ( yeah, even if I don't post much, lurking retro is part of my daily routine, that much that I feel strange if I don't lurk it for a week)

Does anyone remember where that rumor about SA2 having a submarine scenario came from? Tamaki from Unseen 64 is talking with Iizuka about this right know and is asking about this. I cant remember if it was at a amagazine or something, can anyone help?

Heard around the net that the show is gone into summer hiatus. Have a new episode been shown today?

I have problems with my modern Tv too. I got a cheap new LCD tv a month ago, since my old CRT TV was already giving signals or an imminent death, and now I can't play retro consoles on it.

The TV is a 24' Blusens H324 , and it doesn't seem to understand RGB signal at all. It has a scart input but when I put consoles this happen:

- Megadrive and master System do not show any image at all with an RGB cable. I use a modded Pal Megadrive with switches to put it at 60hz. No difference with 50 or 60 hz. Master System is not modded ( and 50hz since it's pal) and it does exactly the same. TV says "no signal" with Mega Drive, but just a black screen with Master System. They worked fine with the old Tv. They work with RF and with AV ( although they cant run at 60 hz then, if you switch to 60hz then it goes black screen with sound that goes on and off. Sometimes you can see image for a flash second)

- Snes and Saturn show like this with RGB cable. Av runs fine.


- Dreamcast do not work at all with RGB. Haven't tried RF or Av.

- PSX/PS2/Gamecube and Xbox work fine with RGB.

AV show a red jailbar everytime, but at least you can play even if it looks badly.

I was looking for a new TV that works with old consoles, or some other way to connect them. I've heard about this thing, have someone used it and can confirm consoles will work?
