I'm still surprised that Sega's bringing Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax over here; that was at the back of my mind for any game they could have chosen to localize. Still praying for PSO2 and the Shining series, but faith is literally non-existent.

I swear, me and Sik were already thinking of this because Noire and Saturn-chan are sorta like expies to each other in our eyes. They stole this from us!

Oh, and Compile Heart games are a bittersweet experience; you love one bit of the game and then you hate another. You say you're not gonna buy it, but then you do it anyway; happens to me all the time. :v:

Here's hoping for PlayStation TV compatibility.

I really like Sonic Adventure. Except for Big's story. Big can go fuck himself for all I care...

    ...

    ...

..but his theme song makes up for his story. I love the soundtrack for this game.

The soundtrack is like half the game. It just oozes with awesomeness. All of the character themes, despite some of them being zany, were good.

I'm surprised I even completed the entire Sonic Adventure story; I was majorly turned-off by Amy's and Big's gameplay segments, but I pulled through.
  4. In Topic: Playing the "Bad" Sonic Games

    10 February 2015 - 01:33 AM

I'm actually currently playing through Sonic '06 myself. As aforementioned, having friends along for the ride makes the game more fun, especially all of the glitches that are thrown into your face before and on Wave Ocean.

On the other side of the page, I actually enjoyed Shadow The Hedgehog more than most people probably did. I like the game; it has its flaws but I wouldn't label it as a "bad" game. :v:

My worry is physical games will dry up entirely. This coming generation onwards is going to be a FUCKER to archive for the long term thanks to insistence on using DRM. More need to learn from GoG's example.

This is pretty much my only concern; digital games and DRM, all that crap, I don't wanna go down that road.

The moment a big company goes entirely digital is the moment I stop buying new games, period. Capcom came pretty close, I believe; I'm surprised they could afford devkits for producing next-gen content.
