In Topic: Sonic Boom (Games) Megathread

For the game version of Sonic Boom, players will have to look at it from a completely different perspective from which they view games such as the Adventure series or Generations.
The mechanics in the game are very different from any previous Sonic game. This one focuses less on speed and more on level progression, as well as teamwork and finding creative ways around obstacles.
Also, this game has been in development for some time, so expect a (mostly) glitch-free experience! -

The Genesis is capable of more than 32/64 colors on-screen. And, yes, it would be very time consuming.
Here is video proof of >64 colors:

SVGD really looks like it is shaping up good! I've always wanted to see a Pokemon port to the Sega Genesis/CD/32x.
Thanks to the Sega CD, you were able to pull off keeping the audio in their original forms. Not that they would sound bad on the Yamaha chip, though.
Also, having the game on Sega CD has another advantage: anyone with a Sega CD can burn the game to disc (use 2x/3x/4x & CD-R) and play it on their real hardware. Not sure how it would differ going between NTSC and PAL. -

I have made a couple of covers for Sonic games on Steam. Now if only I could get Sonic R to work on Windows 7 64-bit! Also, the Sonic Unleashed cover will be good when the Unleashed Generations mod is released, or if the game is ever brought to PC (come on Sega!)

The PlayStation 3 controllers are good, but there are no official drivers for Windows.
They are notorious for having bugs in Windows, because the drivers are not guaranteed to work; even a $5 controller would run better because it has official support.
I would recommend browsing around the internet for better drivers for the PS3 controllers. Also, I believe the PS3 controllers are Bluetooth enabled, so you might not even need to have them wired up to your computer! (Provided that your computer also has Bluetooth)
