Line In on Windows 7 Mixer
21 August 2011 - 06:42 AM
Okay, so. I recently got an RCA to 3.5 Stereo cord that I'm using to get sound from my consoles onto my PC. Works fine. Except I can't find where to control the volume of this damn thing.
Well, that's a lie. I have to go into my Realtek Audio Manager in order to get Line In to respond to anything, as it is pretty loud at times. I'm trying to get it to show up on my volume mixer. I've been searching google and while there are solutions, none of them seem to work. I'm not sure if it's stereo mix I need to get onto the mixer or what, but it makes it a real pain during streaming when you have to open three or four windows to adjust volume for audio and mic.
What I have at the moment is a program called Power Mixer. It does exactly what I need (letting me control all volume levels), but it's a trial version. I'm hoping that if, for whatever reason, I can't get this to show up on my Windows 7 mixer that someone else knows of another program that can do what I'm needing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! -
Shadow's McDonald's Interview!
27 March 2009 - 01:24 PM
So here I was, all chillin' and shit waitin' for today when I realised OH SNAP I need to get spiffed up for my McDonalds interview so I can get a job. Everything else is good, I just need to shave. I mean..

The fact that this isn't acceptable is a travesty. Maybe something with more style.

Well, aside from the right half being a bit off.. But its perfect! I think I'll get this job for sure.
Wish me luck, guys!

Nameless Hack
25 January 2008 - 05:12 PM
I've just got into rom hacking (I tried once before and totally failed) and am hoping to learn more and more from what's out there. As of now, I'm only working on level layouts, getting a feel for object placement and what not. I'll begin working on pallette and/or sprites eventually as I begin to understand everything a bit more.

Currently, only act 1 of Emerald Hill is playable, though you can play the rest of the unaltered game through level select (after act 1, it goes back to the sega title screen). The only other big change is I'm fucking with Hill Top Zone in the process, as I'd rather combine aspects of both zones for one good zone and then retile Hill Top as I get more experienced. I also realise I need to learn stuff like split disassembly and what not and not just stay in SonED.. But you don't learn everything at once.
So, constructive criticism only, please. Remember, I've just started, so things are a bit wonky. -
