Golden $onic the Hedgehog in Golden Dimension is a Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)(16-bit) hack with palette modifications (well, it's easily noticeable, isn't it?), art modifications (like Title Screen, Level Select text and color changes or rings and monitors art in particular acts),Chunks modifications (Using, creating and importing Blocks and Tiles in SonED2) and level layout and object placement modifications, particulary extended in Golden Brain zone act 1, Golden Brain zone act 2, Golden Brain zone act 3 (or Gold Mine zone act 4) and Death zone (Final) which makes these acts longer and much more difficult than others.

The game features Sonic's interdimensional counterpart called "Golden $onic the Hedgehog" in his dimension called "Golden Dimension" or "Golden ₩orld". $onic is very similar to Sonic and €ggman is very similar to Eggman, like Eggman Nega; but the only difference is that $onic and €ggman are just.......Golden!$_$
So this time $onic must save the world (and Golden Animals) from the evil Dr. €ggman.
Will $onic be able to defeat €ggman and his Golden Badniks army in his fantastic Dimension?

This game is modified using SonED2 (at the beginning both SonED and SonED2), HivePal, Hexplorer and HEX workshop.

≫ Currently in alpha version [V. 0.1.9.8](unpublished):
Level Select screen and Chunks modifications are still uncompleted.
✎These changes will be made in beta version [V. 1.0]
Level Layout modifications are completed in each zone ,
but object placement modifications are completed only in GHZ (Golden Hill zone), BGZ (Black Gold zone), GBZ (Golden Brain zone) and DZ (Death zone).
✎Object placement modifications will be completed in the release version [V. 1.1]



✎In the next version [V 2.0] I'll include some ASM edits (like bug fixes, game improvements and other ASM-only edits) and Sound changes in order to make the game more beautiful and interesting.
