You get so goddamn angry whenever people ever decide they don't like something about this game. Why can't you be content in your own opinion about it if you legitimately enjoyed it? Chill the hell out. No need to be so insecure about it, especially since this post made you look like a complete ass in comparison.
Okay Tweaker, I take it back.

The guitars don't sound that bad.

I don't really think drowning the entire composition out with guitars is the answer. But I guess if it's another way for you guys to lament over the game, it was totally worth posting. Look at all of the responses you got, RGamer!

Would you like some cheese with that whine, Retro?

The voices don't bother me so much as the writing does, but that's improved somewhat in Generations. I do wish Smith's voice was just a but higher (not squeaky Drummond high, but higher than it is now) and I think I still prefer Lisa Ortiz as Amy. Tails, Cream, and Rouge's voices are significant improvements over the previous VA's, though. Shadow would be great if it wasn't for the stupid lisp.

As for the writing... it's still got a ways to go.

I haven't played either in a while, but I recall something feeling kind of off about 3's physics in the 2P mode. I'm not sure how I feel about the circuit-style stages, either. They're short but I like how they change between every lap. 2's were a true 2-Player version of the actual levels in the game, though, more like SA2's 2-Player mode. Shame Chemical Plant and the other stages didn't make the cut, probably due to hardware limitations.

I really wish we could get a full-blown mainstream Sonic racing game someday using the Unleashed gameplay. Boost naysayers begone, Sonic was always a racing game to me. :colbert:

This is beginning to look like what I had hoped it wasn't. Choppy dated models, forced psuedo-platforming gameplay, no real indication of effort outside of the fancy CGI trailer...

On a technical level, the graphics don't even appear to rival those of the original game. What's going on?

EDIT: And what's with the weird Pac-Man minigame, are they really running that low on ideas?
