Sega and Sanrio are teaming up for a series of character collaborations. The first product to result from the partnership shouldn't be too surprising:
This Sonic x Hello Kitty Super Jumbo Plushy will be available in late July at Sega amusement facilities throughout Japan. The item is meant to commemorate the long awaited July 14 reopening of Sega's Tokyo Joyopolis facility.
Sega says that it will be staging this collaboration project worldwide starting in Summer 2013.

What an adorable monstrosity. I don't even care much for Hello Kitty, but I think I need to have that. I can't wait to see the other ridiculous collaborations. Knuckles + Badtz-Maru would make me absolutely giddy. -
