I always wondered what were their inspirations for the design of Knuckles. Why does he have the rastaman bits (dreadlocks and the shoe color)? And what's up with the 'Nike symbol' on his chest? Did the developers ever explain the whole deal behind his look?

Back in 2003 Nemesis found rare unused sprite in Sonic 1. It was the second set of Eggpod's legs (you can see the other set in Final Zone). The art must be compressed with Nemesis format. I need the location of it. Somebody has to remember about it.

Recently I've seen people saying something like 'maybe someday we'll find even Sonic 2 with colourized ending' or "that's almost impossible as to find Sonic 2 with colourized ending". That's not exact phrases and I don't really remember the posters, but I just got the feel of that I should present this thing.

Well, long story short. Sonic 2 with colourized ending DOES exist. It seems that all (or atleast many) of you have forgotten it. Quite a long time ago, back in 2003 or 2004 there was a topic on Cult about this. There were some interesting theories and stuff. At that point IceKnight had a gif with colourized ending in his signature. Great hacker of that time, Nemesis got an idea from this thing. In just a few hours he presented everybody with his masterpiece - perfectly working colourized ending in Sonic 2.

Well, it seems this great gem of Sonic Hacking Community got lost. But I was preserving it all these years, and now I present you with this lost gem, a masterpiece by Nemesis,

Sorry, if this is old, but I couldn't find it in search. Maybe it's a common stuff, I've found it a few months ago and now finally decided to give it a shot anyway.



If you stand in the place where Sonic stands in the picture and press down, Knuckles will start doing his extra animation (like "Sonic! Get the hell outta here, I'm fine!"). And if you hold down he'll just freeze on the first frame of this animation until you release the button.

I wonder what purpose does this thing serve? And why down button? Maybe the Japanese made it as like Sonic bows to Knuckles (bowing is a very common thing in Japan).

Again sorry if this is old. Just it amazed me a lot when I found it. So I posted it in case somebody doesn't know this.

I wonder is it possible to have Knuckles with Tails in normal game, afterall they share the same pallete. Esrael made this possible in S2 in his Delta hack. But my childhood dream was to have Tails carrying Knuckles, just like he carries Sonic. Is it possible?
