    QUOTE (Solaris Paradox @ Nov 14 2010, 06:48 AM)
He's assuming the real world carries the same kind of hostility that the Internet does, when in fact, actually speaking to a person causes people to think and react with more than enough restraint to keep a cool head, at least in regards to such things as videogames. Most of the time.

Just imagine, Solaris, if this event was like SEGA forums with people? We'd have a large chunk of crowd constantly yelling "SEGA WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO US!", and devoting most of that argument to a general hatred of physics and homing attack. Then you'd have a group that would be like "GROW UP PURISTS" and then this one due who constantly gets kicked out, then sneaks in with a different hat every time.

What Namo said. The clear water helps make the environment more eye catching and interesting.

I just tried it out. It was quite fun. Dusty Dunes was somewhat frustrating at some parts though, and I didn't bother trying to see if there was anything past Act 1 in the demo. The first stage was wonderful and well made. Dusty Dunes seemed to trap me in places I couldn't get out of. For instance, push a block on top of a switch. jumped over the block because I was like "OMG Obstacle! must avoid!" Shortly after that when I realized there was no way getting past this part or jumping back up *thankfully Tails got stuck, so there was no way of me using him to fly* and I had to impale myself on the nearby spikes just to get a second chance. Then I got stuck in a spike pit. This isn't so bad. I probably could have gotten out if my right arrow wasn't kinda broken. And then to finish it off, I bounced off a spring, got flung to the left off the screen and died. And I wish I could make the screen a bit bigger. The enemies are sometimes so small I have a hard time seeing them. That and they kinda seemed to blend into the background too easily.

Overall the demo was very nice. I demand completion!

I'm really digging those graphics for the Sonic CD Remix thingy. I would dare to say that I think you've actually improved them. They were so bright and overpowering in the original game.

I'm also happy to see someone doing something with Sonic X-treme. I hope this goes somewhere. :D

I really hope this does well. The Sonic Unleashed daytime stages, in terms of the gameplay really made me feel like a kid again. I'm glad what reviews it's getting are good ones. I mean, sure, I'd probably love it anyway. (I suffer from easy to please syndrome. I'll use my enjoyment of 75 percent of ShTH for reference. Yeah, it's that bad.) I'm trying to avoid any more of the images and footage from this game. Everything I saw early has me uber excited, and knowing it's using Sonic Unleashed gameplay doesn't help. As easy as I am to please, I really hope this does well enough so that I'll have something to talk about after I beat it!

BTW, forgive my rambling, I'm running on little sleep, but am I the only one who finds it humorously appropriate that Sonic Colors DS is Sonic Rush 3? Sonic Unleashed seriously felt like Rush on steroids.
