Whoa, I didn't expect the Super Sonic skin to get ported over for at least a few days from what Tweaker told me. D:

I'll make the SS buttons tomorrow; seeing as it is 3:15 in the morning here I figure it's a bit late.

So...I don't see any signatures, or any option weather to view them or not.

Whoops, the option should be there now. Try it.

Also, make sure to give a good look at some of the new features in IPB 2.1, including the Rich Text Editor, which allows you to physically see your posts as they will appear when posted.

Enable it by going to My Controls -> Board Settings -> And turning on the RTE.

There's also a new "Quick edit," which lets you edit your posts on the fly, by simply choosing the quick edit option whenever you click the "Edit" button.

Also, no more need for , you can enable HTML in your posts by selecting "HTML On - Auto/Raw Linebreak Mode". Auto linebreak is the preferred option, unless you like fiddling around with raw HTML code.

Finally, in the little "Options" dropdown box, you can change the way the topic is displayed. The default, Standard, is the one you see right now. Linear + is simmilar to standard, except it will show the first post at the top of each page in the topic. Outline is sort of a classic BBS viewing mode, showing the topic in a more threaded view rather than everything at once.

There's lots more features but I'll leave that to you to find out yourself :)

Aww man this is so kick-ass. I figured the forum would look completely different when you got this done, but it still has it's original look with some small new-looking features. And I'm glad it has the super-sonic skin now as opposed to yesterday, because that skin owns the other, amirite? Much thanks guys!

Is there a way to edit the date format? I don't really like to see "today"/"yesterday" and so on, I prefer a simple plain date.
Also, something that allows you to switch to year-month-day format would be highly appreciated.

Awesome update, my only gripe is that all typing feilds are now black, making them fugly looking. I'll have a bit of fun with the Display name change now if you don't mind. =P

Good job with the upgrade, I know they can be a pain in the ass. I'm still getting used to IPB (vBulletin fan here) but this new version is not that bad!

The SS skin isn't much different. The only difference is the Quote bar.

'Tis basically the same, and I love it. =P Uhh, that's from the before the upgrade, if you can't tell. =P

I always thought they look better when they blend in with the page rather than contrast with it, IMO.

GW forgot to make an icon for the attachment link on the topic listing. It's currently just a blank space, and unless you hover over it, you can't tell that it's even a link.

Robjoe: White on black is preferable, because it's easier to read from a computer monitor.

No, there's an icon there, but if you are using the default skin (with black background) you won't see it. Using the Super Sonic skin, I can see it.
