I for one am not falling for tweakers coverup here. Seriously, he causes shit, then when he sees its blowing up in his face he apologizes, everyone then is all "OH that's OK TWEAKER, WE LOVE YOU <3 <3 <3". No, I'm not falling for it, fuck you tweaker you've lost any trust/faith I had in you. I don't care if other people see me as an ass.

Then why don't you do what other people are doing and take 'a vow of silence'? (IE - lurking anonymously on the forums and not post at all) =P

Because Nikki, I'm not going to sit down and shutup when the place I used to like going to gets completely screwed over, and I will voice my opinions over it weither YOU like it or not.

Uh oh you used CAPITAL LETTERS! I'm scared now

Alright, I'm sick of being nice to everyone all the time. So please allow me to rant on two things to possibly make the board cool again.

Make the decision to get rid of the damn IRC box at the top, and maybe I'll rethink my status of this place. Move it to the bottom of the page if you seriously have to keep it. Whether Sonic Cult owns you now, it really brings down the quality of the board. IRC kills a message board. Don't agree? Take a look at OsBetaArchive where I was a moderator. All the IRC bullshit got out of hand. I don't care if it's a "shitload of fun" to talk on an IRC client. Then what's the point of having this message board here?

And another thing, I know this is the place to rant, but I go and click on "View New Posts" and get about a page load of [trashed] crap. Rather than send the topics to the trash, delete them. It makes the board look worse. I was thinking the move to S2B would be neat, but as of now, I'm reconsidering. It's no longer about Sonic 2 Beta. It's about member status, post count, and how to make others feel like dirt.

Sigh...my childhood that sparked me as a 16 year-old has left me...

...This really isn't about the IRC (this time anyways).

Yeah, but all problems usually form from an IRC either way.

OK man, seriously, calm down. At the least, give Tweaker one more chance before you go apeshit and start demanding his demotion. He made a mistake in letting Saz influence him so much, and I'm at least going to give him another chance before I go nuts and say he's done a shitty job. If something else major and dumb happens, then whatever. Go nuts. But if you keep this up, well...

Actually, this was almost completely IRC-free.

While I do agree this issue was IRC-free, I do also disagree with the way the IRC is run, having been an admin of my own IRC channel and site for four years. However it is neither my place here nor my business to tell the admins how to run their site; but rather, I suggest, as well, the IRC box be moved to the bottom, not because it represents the IRC, but because of how much I must scroll down to view topics because of it.

The logo is next. :P

Although that would be a simple compromise. Shorten it to the size of the logo so that it doesn't necessarily add more vertical space. Either way, this is getting silly real fast.

One more question: What's with this "Sazbie" Group?

It's a special group I put Saz in while he's converting the board to IPB 2.1. This is just so he can post updates for us in the Staff forum.
