As you may have noticed, the original Tech Member group has been wiped, and will slowly fill up again based on current works, to result in a hopefully smaller, more focused group. Needless to say it may be a bit harder to get in this new group, but in the end our hopes is that this group will give a better meaning to the term, "Tech Member."

Don't be alarmed if you randomly see people becoming Tech Members - it's a manual process. :P

I like the sound of this. It sound more like a challenge. I'll get to work once I'm done with disgaea 2.

Fuck, now I have no chance.
Meh, not like I did before. =P
Glad to see some changes already being set into place.

I'd also like to add that community "legends" (Nemesis, Esrael, Dr. Ivo, etc) will remain as Tech Members, simply because we all know they more than surpass the "requirements" to be considered a Tech Member.

Just give them a group of there own. They deserve it.

Well, at the moment, I was under the impression that we're trying to keep the number of usergroups down as low as we possibly could. Personally I'm in favor of the concept (at least to a point), but it seems those that favor it so far are in the minority. I'll leave that to LocalH to decide for now.

There needs to be an "Honourary Tech" group. As I said on Skype, if these people are being techie'd sooner, then they're superior, thus this should be reflected in the group too.

I was thinking of a title more like: Tech member legend, or Omega Tech member.

DHZ, the second one sounds... bad.

"Tech Legend" was one I'd heard in Skype that sounded good, and there are some (the ones mentioned earlier, and Saxman) who most definitely qualify for such a title.

I know it does. Let's go with tech legend if it's gonna happen.

Why would you care if you got it or not? Its not like you get anything special.

As for tech legend, drop the "tech" and go with that.

For the record, according to Tweaker, Oldbie cut off is June 2002.

Also... why is Tweaker "Co-Administrator"? Wouldn't "Adminstrator" just look better?

EDIT: Between the time it took me to click reply and type that, it was changed. I fucking rule.

LocalH decided to ditch the whole "Co-Administrator" thing, because it really wasn't needed - it's more convinient for all of us to have root access, should the situation arise that we need it. You'll also notice Hive is a full admin as well, and the co-admin group is all alone. =P

If I really DID appear as co-admin, then it must be some sort of error. I've been like this ever since the board switched over to LocalH's control.
