Sonic XG Screenshots, what d'you think?

Hey, I doubt you'll remember me. A while ago there was a topic here about my fangame sonic forever. That project failed because the two man team fell apart (I.e. only I was working on it) So instead I took what work I had done, and used it as a base to restart my old fangame Sonic XG. The point of the game is to be very old school, while adding some stuff to the game and continuing the "story" of sonic and knuckles.

Anwyays, hers some screens of the Title screen, the cutscene after the first level, and act/zone 1 of level 2. Level one is a cunning surprise.

Okay, enough of that. But when can we expect a release? That level looks so official, and yet most of it isn't even custom.

Looks very nice. Just make sure it plays well, and all will be fine.

Also, use good grammar in the cutscenes, or Quick Man's Nazi ninjas will kill you.

Ah, Zonic Spike. I knew that name was familiar from somwhere.

Sadly, I remember little to nothing of the original Sonic XG. Judging from these screenshots, however, it does look like it will be quite fun to play.

I do, however, have a few questions:
1.) I see a "Press Fire 1!" at the title screen. This leads me to believe that you're creating this in The Games Factory/Click n' Create/Multimedia Fusion. Am I correct?
2.) The lives icon displays Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. I'd assume from this that all three of them are playable, but I want confirmation on that. Also, if they are all three playable, how does switching characters work? Certain characters play certain levels (SA2 Hero/Dark story-style)? On-The-Fly switching? Choose a character at the start of each level?

Err, sorry to dissapoint if I am, but cutscenes...grammar? This total old school so no dialogue, think sonic2/3 style cutscenes.

Yes tis in MMF, but don't worry, when you play it, it will feel like a sonic game cos Nitemare rox, everythings in it, loops, 360 movement, the works. And yep Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are all in, share the same levels but will have their own exclusive paths in each, much like knuckles did in Sonic 3/K.

Oh and Fang and Metal sonic also play a role in the game, think of that Eggman has made Fang in charge of metal persay, to get in your way the same way Knuckles would in Sonic 3, moreso perhaps even ;D
