Ooh cool Nic! I remember you talking about working on this. I can't really talk about how it plays, because I don't even have a Mac. But anyway, judging on how everyone is taking it, it must be good. Keep on Fackin'!
They have it in Win32, srb2.org.
I know, but I was talking about the Mac port of it.

Works pretty well on my Mac - surprising really, since many of today's modern Mac games run sluggishly on it
There are some unusual effects though. When loading a level or level end screen, the screen breaks up into flickering lines - but this effect disappears after a couple of seconds. I assume my graphics card is not rendering the fade properly? Also, there are 'lag bursts' whenever I'm in a large open area with lots of detail.
The Mac I tried this on was an iMac (CRT and CPU in same case) with a 500MHz PowerPC G3 and 640MB SDRAM.

Nah, that's just the way OpenGL on SRB2 is, sorry.
Talk to AJ about that, he's the one who doesn't want to use OGL, lol
But thanks. And 500 Mhz? And it ran well? That's amazing.
Thanks, man.

Ok, I finally got the Linux version working....so for linux users I am making a tar.gz. If someone wants to host these files, let me know, that'd be great. I was going to make a deb file, but those apparently take more than 20 mins to make.
Ok.
SRB2(Linux) 63.5MB
When you get it in your homedir, just type tar -zxvf srb2.tar.gz and it will extract into its own dir. To start it, cd into srb2's dir and type ./lsdlsrb2. If it gives you issues about sdl, apt-get the following: libsdl-mixer1.2-dev and libsdl1.2-dev

Yeah, over 1750 downloads in three days.
That's awesome.
