It's done in multimedia fusion. Yes I'm prejudiced against game maker programs. Especially in this case as Sonic XTreme deserves better.
Well maybe we'll see a good 3D C++ Xtreme remake at some point.

That's not even 3D!
Well, pseudo-3D...

What are you talking about? Those environments are all 3D, excluding Sonic and the enemies, which were sprites in the original game as well.
It is technically made in MMF, but it uses OpenGL rather than MMF's standard drag-and-drop shiz.

Dead topic, I know, but... this caught my eye, and I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere on here. It's pretty recent, too, dated March '07.
Candy Mountain, eh? Looks like we were narrowly spared a bizarre level concept of Music Plant/Toy Kingdom heights, although given it was Yasuhara behind it, he'd probably have been able to make it work.

That looks a lot like what Senn showed to me when I met up with him last year, though the designs seemed a lot more rough than that.

Dead, dead topic, I know. But I don't feel so bad since this is stickied. I love the music! It was incredible... I'm kind of sad about Xtreme's cancelation, now.

If you're gonna go bumping topics, could you at least try adding a bit more content to your posts? One or two liners are generally discouraged, especially in a topic with substance.

Technically I didn't bump anything. It was stickied, sitting at the top. The topic never moved positions.
Additionally, I could show you responses with one or two liners. Even in this very topic... but I assume you've been dilligent in handing out the reprimands.

All I'm asking is that you put more thought into your posts is all. It's not a big deal, seriously, but when you're going to reply to an old topic, "bumped" or otherwise, it's generally expected that you have significant content to add to the topic. :P

So, my opinion is valueless if the topic is a certain age? I mean if that's not true, then I don't know how I would expand on how I loved the tracks I listened to. Why am I expected on writing a lengthy reply to an old topic when people can chime in with short posts while it's active?
And that's ASSUMING my opinion is allowed. Perhaps in this situation I am not allowed to even go into that regardless of its length? I'm hoping I don't have to discover a later prototype of Sonic Xtreme to be allowed to post in this thread. :P

All I'm saying is that you should consider whether or not your reply will contribute to the discussion in a way to encourage further, valid replies long after the topic has met its end. I mean, this is nearly a year old! Come on, now, you'd think it might be better to make a topic asking others opinions about the music in Sonic X-Treme, or Sonic music in general. At least then it would have had more of a purpose.
Anyway, this is last I'm saying on the matter.
