Sadly, the way you ported the spindash makes room for inumerous camera bugs, for instance:
In GHZ1, stand on the top of the cliff with the two 'S' shaped tubes, face it and look up. When the camera reaches its highest point, let go of up and immediately start a spindash, so that the camera will lock. Build up some speed, let go, and watch Tails sink into oblivion and, if you're lucky, die.
And concerning the "tired" animations - weren't there unused animations like those in Sonic 2? *researches*
Oh and by the way, like no one seems to have noticed, Tails is floating at least a good 3 pixels off the ground.
