It's bullshit. They can lose one cartridge, but they have thousands of extra copies. That's no reason to cut the level.

Emailing him is redundant. LOst tried, and got a message sent back telling that he didn't speak good english. No doubt that interview used some excellent translation.

But how do you think he'd respond? That's vital to dealing with him.
And Weird Person: He CREATES the non-disclousure agreements. He's not bound to them, but he decides to adhere to them. It's his choice to reveal information to us if he so desires.

If you email to him a E-mail with a emulator picture of Sonic in HPZ over a Big Emerald, and a attached file, it would be enough to he understand.
If he REALLY wants the source, then a picture can say more than a thousand of words.

Read closer, he didn't say they cut the level because the cart was stolen. He said the level was cut due to time restraints.

Still, when we were running out of time, we looked over things quickly trying to figure out what to dump ... and CHOP went the Hidden Palace. There's simply no way we could have thrown that in by the deadline at the rate we were going.

Oh, I know THAT. I was reffering to a comment made in a previous post. Maybe I should've quoted it.

Actually, you are bound to contracts that you make. That's the whole point of them. If the person that made the NDA isn't bound by it, game developers would be sooooo fucked.

As far as I knew, he would have to sign it first. Either way, he'd have to tell us up front that he can't tell us shit. He seemed to want to blab his mouth about HPZ. :P

Nope - otherwise every member of an organisation would have to sign every contract. He's bound by the fact that it's Sega's contract.
EDIT act -> fact

We don't. We are the owner of Sonic now. Mwahaha.
EDIT: Seriously, if they know we are using the code, they will do anything to stop us. Do you really want Sonic Team to have to code? They will not use it, and we will not be able to use it anymore. That scenario is not good in anyway.
you're an idiot. Sega knows we disassemble their games, and naka is GLAD we're dedicated enough to do it.
So you have talked to him about it? I don't think so. So who's the idiot now?

Nobody, as there isn't sufficient proof to prove either argument.
