    Hi there. Someone posted about my fangame here a little while ago,a nd it sprouted the discovery of a kcamath.cox error. A certain file that was stored internally for the game to do some advanced mathmatics with, but it also seemed to gay up the exe file.

    Anyways, I've since got help with the matter and have made the screw ups go away, if anyone would care to test this out I would appreciate some confirmation that it does actually work. =E

    It says "CNCS232.dll cannot be found" do you have any idea what that means?

    That very same evil message popped up when I tried to start it. Damn .dll files. <_<

    I forgot to say, you should be able to nab those dlls on google very easily, just pop the filename in a search.

  5. CNCS232.dll is the file needed for multimedia fusion made games/programmes

    I agree, I'ts a great engine, but you need an exit game button like <esc> otherwise, I enjoyed playing this :)

    Hahaha, I've not heard that one before.

    I'll try this when I have the bandwith to download it, my monthly limit's been met. :)

    Works just like the earlier build. Nice work as always Zonic Spike!

    More Debug options that were left out:
    E= explosion
    R= gives you 50 more rings
    S= snow
    1= gives you different music (just one)
    F2= restart game
    F12= start from last checkpoint

    F12= start from last checkpoint

    It was in your last build as well. The only thing different about this build and v82, the last build that was shown on this site, was that you couldn't move at all after respawning at the checkpoint. That, and the new enemies :) .

    Umm... After one act, it "freezes". The charries do their winnig poses all the time, but the game doesn't go to the next act/zone.

    It's an engine test, it's not meant to do anything after that. =.

    Wow, now that I can actually play this, I'd have to say it kicks ass. ^_^ Some things, like the gliding and flying, don't nessecarily feel like the classic Sonic games, but considering the amount of work you've put in to get it this good already I'd have to say that those are negligable.

    Obviously, the level is just designed to test out the engine, so I won't go too much into anything I found there. I know it'd be a lot of work, still, but considering this is a work in progress I think if there are a few things you could do to this, it would make it a heck of a lot better:

    -Make it so that, on the sideways poles you 'hang on' to (not the ones you spin around), you can break them yourself by pressing Fire 1, rather than having to wait for the pole to break of its own accord.

    -Allow turning while gliding as Knuckles

    -Adjust speeds of both flying and gliding (both seemed way too fast to me, though maybe you intended to speed them up a bit).

    -Allow the player to stop charging a spin dash / peel out whenever they wish, rather than it having to charge for a set time.

    -Change the life icon so that the colours of Sonic/Tails/Knuckles reflect the colours of the ingame sprites. =P Yeah, that's a small graphical nitpick.

    -Make it so that the explosions / sheilds / bubbles are effected by the water (they remain the same colours above and below water).

    Like I said, I don't know how easy any of that would be to do, but looking at what you've accomplished so far I think you guys could pull it off, with a bit of work. Some of the level designs you have that I saw a while ago over at CulT looked kickass (especially Palm Paradiso, Wood Works and Aero Arena). So, uh, yeah. There's my suggestions to improve an already great engine in progress. Keep up the good work!

    -Tapping fire1 makes the poles break quicker, like sonic 3.
    -You can change direction while gliding.

    The gliding is a little stiff in alternating direction though, I'll fix that.

    Haha, whoops. =P My bad. It'd be cool if you'd be able to implement some of the other stuff, though.

    Anyway! Can't wait to see more from this project at a later date. Out of interest, when you have enough assets and things completed, are there any chances of releasing say, a demo of the first level (Final Fall, isn't it?) to tide people over until the full game is finished? Cause if the quality of the finished product is going to be as good as what you've done so far, I'm guessing it might take a while to surface. Just a question, is all.
