I managed to get the sound files, which I think are adx2. When I convert them to wav, they come out fuzzy. Is there a current way to get to come out clean?

That's likely due to the "encryption" feature. ADX supports obfuscating the audio with a 16-bit (IIRC) key that's used to XOR the data. This is a very weak cipher, which is why you can still hear the audio, albeit with a lot of noise.
I don't think the XOR key for Runners is known at the moment.

Is that why sound ripping hasn't been possible yet?
I've been looking around for a Runners gamerip for ages now.

I'm more interest in sound effects than the music, being you can find the music on Youtube. It's not the best quality mind you, but hey.

Have you tried running guessadx on it?

It brute-forces ADX encryption keys.

I'll try it when I get home. Tried it and it said there doesn't appear to be a key.
