I'm trying to sniff out a clean copy of the YEEEEAAAHHH / cheering sound clip that plays near the beginning of
Palmtree Panic JP for a music project. If someone has it handy, or something similar, it'd be muchly appreciated.
Also if anyone has any other Sonic CD samples handy those would be cool to have too. I have a precious few but I'd love to have more in my collection.

Have you listened to the three Zero G Datafile discs? Many of Sonic CD's samples originate from them.
I don't know if the cheering is there or not.

Apparently those samples were never cleared for commercial release, yet Sega's been doing fine. How risky would it be for a smaller outfit to try using them in commercially sold sample-based tracker music?

Sorry for my ignorance but isn't it so that can you use anything from anywhere if it's less than 3 seconds long?

I'm trying to track those Zero G CDs down online, I'll report back if I find them and if I find what I'm looking for inside. It's for a decidedly noncommercial project anyway so I'm not too worried.

I don't make music, but I'd be interested in listening to some Sound samples. Keep us updated for sure !

Like a snake eating it's own tail, I was lead from Google back to
this very forum. All the links are dead though. I'm still hoping to find a download from a semi-reputable source (ie: not a foreign/spooky torrenting site) in CD quality. The search continues.
