bought this recently, noticed these images:



Top middle looks like an early title screen for Golgo 13 using the SC-3000 "draw" functions. Bottom middle looks like some early boxart or unused artwork for Orguss

Proper scans up tomorrow.

For the record I would totally endorse a sort-of Sega prototype coverage thing on Sega Retro, similar to how we've traditionally done it on Sonic Retro. It'll need a lot of organisation and input though - I'm not really sure how best to begin.

As an aside I did once attempt to start listing some of those 32X prototypes from drx's haul years ago. I was thinking about standardised titles like, idk, "Prototype:Virtua Racing Deluxe (1994-xx-yy)". The problem is that most of these prototypes are under-researched and it seemed pointless to retread over what The Cutting Room Floor has done.

I liked the idea of not hosting screenshots as individual JPEGs like we're doing on Sonic Retro, but entire magazines as PDFs. Because some of these Sonic shots are so old that we've collectively forgotten where they came from, which can be really important when it comes to determining build dates and possibly even the location of prototypes.
