Sega has announced Miracle Girls Festival, a tentatively titled PS Vita rhythm game that brings together the girls from a number of different anime, due out this winter in Japan.

The game's rhythm parts use the same engine as Sega's Project Diva games. Players will press the Circle, X, Triangle, and Square buttons in combination with the d-pad to match the on-screen indications.

As you match the button presses, the girls will dance on illuminated stages with big monitors and enthusiastic crowds.

Series slated to appear in the game include:

Wow, that's not just Project Diva-esque, it looks like it literally plays exactly the same as Project Diva games. It even seems to use the exact same Playstation button graphics. Not that that's a bad thing, the Project Diva games are great. Probably won't get this though, aside from it likely never hitting the west, I'm don't really like the moe style. Then again, Vocaloids were off putting for me before playing Project Diva F.
