So, fixing the battery solved my remaining issue with the JVS I/O baseboard, so all systems are green and my Lindbergh Yellow is ready to go.

Can also confirm that the HD-DVD X360 external drive does work with the Lindbergh.

This is very neat! Glad to see you got this up and running.

Now how about grabbing that Lindbergh Silver Satellite? :v:

Also, started mucking with the multi-boot hard-drive I installed in the Lindbergh Blue. Painfully, a JVS I/O board needs to be hooked up, even though some of the games have been modded to work with a usb x360 controller.

I couldn't get Outrun to load with either of my JVS I/O boards ._. I ran out of time to test anything else, I'll have another go next week.

some more videos

Part 1 - Testing original game, which turned out to be Sangokushi Taisen III, but no actual gameplay as I don't have the required hardware to read the cards, not especially interesting.

Part 2 - First attempt at loading VT3, Lindbergh had to reset factory settings because I didn't uninstall Sangokushi Taisen III first (d'oh).

Part 3 - Footage of OS re-installing.

More pictures.

Silver has a unique device that uses these smart cards. Sits in two pci brackets, but isn't connected to mobo, only via usb cable outside the case.
