Sonic The Hedgehog - drum medley (I really would love to hear a full band project)

So this guy plays drums over a medley of the OG Sonic 1 music. There's a few spots where I don't agree with the interpretation/improvisation, but overall it's really neat hearing these songs with real drums. I especially enjoyed Spring Yard for some reason, and what he did with the "chorus" of Labyrinth was pretty cool as well.

Sonic 1 and 2 stood out for me, and many others I imagine, because it felt so different from VG music of the day. It's also very clear that it's written by a bassist.

One day, I'd love to see Sonic 1 and 2's soundtracks done by a live band. Maybe this guy on drums, Masa on bass, I don't really know what other instruments they'd use, though...

Final Zone was phenomenal. This is an excellent video and it makes me want to see a Sonic 3 one :)

I agree with the Final zone, this whole thing was really well done.

I wish he'd team up with this guy.. his basslines are very faithful to the original and he does the entirety of Sonic 1/2. I'm sure people on here have seen him before.
