Anyhow, it's a neat lil' thing to waste time with, I suppose. The reused Colors and Generations cutscene music seems a lil' odd and makes the whole deal feel just that tad bit more cheaper, but gameplay's pretty much what one'd expect from an on-rails sideview runner, I guess - not in a bad way.
Someone who appreciates this little mobile game exactly for what it is instead of derailing topic into " this game is the exact reason why sonic franchise is shit and I should've stopped caring for it long before"?
Am I sleeping?
lol
People have praised the game for exactly what Herm has said over and over, especially when it first launched. The worldwide release build amped up the game's focus on monetisation tenfold and performance has suffered as a result. The game itself is still loads of fun, but SEGA have gone and put and dampener on the entire experience. You get a lot less bang for your buck, essentially.
Somehow I doubt I'm ever going to get my characters up to Lv100 now. Something I've not seen mentioned yet is that the number of rings to level has been hugely increased, I think to 1.5 times what it used to be, so I ended up spending a whopping 800,000-odd rings getting Classic Sonic to just just 50ish. The idea is that you now earn experience points from the rings you collect when using a character, but they just don't seem to go anywhere. It kinda sucks.
