Words cannot describe my anger at this game. I have spun that wheel now probably 26 or 27 times? Still no Classic Sonic. I even gave the fuckers $8 for their fucking moon money, and what do I get from the wheel with my red rings? EGGS EGGS EGGS LOL EASTER BUNNY FROM FREE SPIN MORE EGGS. Why the Eggs? Because it wants to give me a cartridge, but I already maxed that out. So it's giving me special Eggs, not even new partners.

I've tried to defend this game and be loyal to the franchise in some aspect. But why? Why at this point? What are they giving me in return? Anger, frustration, disappointment time and time again. Stupid decision after stupid decision from this fucking company. So you know what? I think I'm finally quitting. I'm going to delete this fucking game, and unless you remake Sonic 3 and Knuckles I just don't care anymore. Congrats Sega. You've toyed with me for far too long and I'm just fucking done with it. If you want sympathy, the same thing happened to me the last few spins I had. The game has the audacity to not factor in the fact that a buddy is max level, and just move to the next on the list of what you can get, but give you a few bits of yet another currency to try again later, after more Red Ring grinding. It should at the very least be a respin.

Ya it's disgusting. It should be illegal honestly, you shouldn't have to gamble with moon money in what's supposed to be a kid's game.

But you know what I'm feeling better already after deleting the game. It was about time for Sonic Purge 2, haven't done one of those in a while. I'm going to stay stuck in the past for now, Sonic 1 - Knuckles sure were great right guys?

I put a review on the Google Play Store saying as such. Of course, the army of Sonic sheep fans are bombing it, but eh. I'd encourage the same until Sonic Team changes things around to offer alternatives. It's abhorrent that I have to raise Sonic Dash as a better example since Dash is also a mess. But it's not as big of a mess as this is.

Yeah, he's a bit hard to control, as such I only use him on the rock stage since the paths are designed to use his abilities, but it's still damn near hard to get on the higher paths with him.

I'm so ready for this freemium / "mobile" market to just crash and burn already. If I'm going to see my favorite series come to my phone, I just want to pay 3-10 dollars and get a game I can play wherever, whenever. A game designed to be played from start to finish without making me wait, or asking for more money. The fact that "free-to-start" even had to become a term just rubs me the wrong way. I'm getting more and more anxious to see what Nintendo offers, though I feel like even if they bring a perfect solution to the table, it in no way will revolutionize things and they'll probably just have to slowly reduce themselves to what's already working on the app stores. Pokemon Shuffle Mobile was just announced yesterday, but that's more The Pokemon Company's way of approaching than Nintendo proper. PSM is also a wonderful example of just following the market and falling into the same pitfalls every other game of its kind does.

I would honestly gladly offer SEGA a few dollars for a version of Runners that just works as a normal game. I load the app, I can play as many times as I want, I get kicked off the leaderboards to help keep it fair, and I get some increased Red Ring amounts to keep the roulette going. A traditional character unlock / Buddy leveling system would be preferred, but I'll take what I can here. This will never happen, however, so that will just be money SEGA never sees from me.

I'm feeling jaded against this series. 2012 me was so god damn amped about Sonic. Unleashed, sorta Black Knight, All-Stars Racing, Colors, Generations, ASR Transformed, it wasn't all perfect but I was enjoying it all so much. It felt like they finally had it together. Anymore I just can't identify with SEGA's current direction and the one-two punch of Lost World's mediocrity combined with the Boom games is almost too much after riding that high. Maybe the movie/25th anniversary game will show us that Sonic Team still knows what's up, and I'm hoping against hope for that.

I just needed to get this out there. I think I'm just going through what everyone else did ages ago...

I emailed the support team, instead of leaving a review on Google Play, and a real human on the staff told me the invasive ads now go away if you at least buy something. (The other concerns I had would be forwarded to the team, like the DRM and Amy.) While it could always fall on deaf ears, that might be more effective than leaving a negative, nasty 1-star review fit for RottenTomatoes and leaving it at that.

I would have been significantly less abrasive of I known somebody would actually reply to it. So if anybody tries that route for getting a quick word in, it couldn't hurt to be nice about it.
