Isn't it humiliating to know that someone can beat the entire game faster while collecting all rings than you can while playing it casually?

In any case, awesome video! I was especially blown away when you glitched your way through Launch Base and ended fighting Sonic's final boss.

So S3K doesn't have a PERFECT ring bonus, that's disappointing.

I figure it probably doesn't have that because in normal game play it's impossible to get some of the rings since they're on other paths. It's also a harder game to backtrack, and there are those rings that you just plain can't get unless you clip through the floor or luckily have an electric shield.

Hell it's better to not have a perfect bonus than to have one but have it in such a way that it's impossible to get a perfect in half the levels (looking at you SA2, with your 0,0 coordinate rings just floating in space...)

So that's why I could get a PERFECT in City Escape, but not in Metal Harbour.

Ya, SA2 has some strangely misplaced rings. There's one in GHZ that's right under the start. I know there are other levels where this is true, but I don't know which ones.

Metal Harbor has one ring that's above the second pulley (that set of two pulleys where you have to somersault first to get to them). You can use the Bounce Bracelet to get up to it. Metal Harbor has a small amount of rings so it's generally easier to perfect Metal Harbor compared to most stages.

Not quite what we're referring to:

How convenient, there's a topic about this already.

You can get a perfect on Metal Harbour, though that may just apply to Battle/the HD release.

EDIT: Probably doable on DC version too, since someone in the topic Dark Sonic pointed out mentioned the 75 hidden rings under the start were in the Hard Mode mission.

There are 75 rings hidden under the first ramp in hard mode? What the hell is that? One accessible ring is doable, but that's just ridiculous. Although, if this doesn't point to a previous version of Metal Harbor existing at one point (or they just really messed up), I don't know what to make of it.
