I heard on one of ClementJ642's videos that he read in an instruction manual that Tails' Skypatrol was a prequel to the Sonic Series (Or something like that), so can anyone find a real source to see if it's real or not, since it seems really interesting to me.

He might have meant Tails Adventures, which according to the Japanese instruction manual takes place before Sonic 2.

Aye. Tails Adventure was stated to be set before Tails ever met Sonic.

Sky Patrol, however isn't really tied down to being set anywhere in particular. I think fans tend to lump it next to Tails Adventure (as being some kind of 'Tails Game Gear miniseries') to avoid confusion. Not sure if the Japanese manual ever stated anything.

Sky Patrol isn't a prequel, Tails already knows Sonic.

I think the bigger question here is why Witchcart was proclaiming this to presumably absolutely no-one, given Tails was hidden.
