Once again thanks to people who donated.

I have finally dumped the EPROMs. Unfortunately the Chaotix prototype ROM was 2-8-95 and the dump is identical to our already dumped 0208 build.

I've uploaded all the chip dumps and individual EPROM photos of the Chaotix roms here: http://www.hidden-pa...ix%202-8-95.zip

I guess it's somewhat interesting that we have the same build from two different source (this has previously happened with Sonic 3D Blast). This also the first true physical Chaotix prototype.

The other prototypes in the bundle were:

* A late prototype of Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire (三國志IV)
* The 3-31-95 prototype of Zaxxon's Motherbase
* A late prototype of Pro Striker Final Stage

Very boring. I'll release the differing ROMs when I get my site back up and running and post here.

edit: The package included this cool Sega of Japan envelope

Drx, does contacting the seller of these prototypes, you can contact the buyer who purchased the Sonic Labyrinth Prototype?

I tried to talk to the seller (through my Japanese proxy) but they were not very forthcoming unfortunately.

It's good to see these dumped, even if they are identical to a previously found prototype for this game! :D

Nice to see the prototype in physical form. Thanks for releasing the individual dumps!

I don't know if that's really funny or kind of sad; a slight mislabel leads people in the future to believe they struck gold when really it was fool's gold

Except I guess the fool would be the one who mislabeled it?
