Read Only Memory seems to have developed a decent relationship with Sega due to MD Collected Works, who gave him unprecedented access to design docs and production art for that book. Maybe get him on the case...

Yeah, with the small print "all final designs to be approved by SEGA". So I don't think they will have much of THAT stuff in there, especially since the previews they showed so far have shit like wasting 4 pages on listing all enemies from Sonic and Streets of Rage. Plus there is no digital edition, so we have to wait till fucking November until the books are printed and ready to ship.
Here's hoping that it'll be worth it and they'll be full of all the juicy design stuff I'd want to see, but I ain't getting my hopes up just yet.

Well, I know for certain it's not just a bunch of sprite sheets, they've had access to prototype design art (They showed off a load of proto pad designs at one point, and I know they had access to the oringinal MD shell blueprints), I know there's at least some pages devoted to clean versions of Japanese cover and manual art, and they've got hold of design docs for a handful of games.
The ratio of that compared to other, non-Sega sourced art and photos though, who knows.

That's cool, but it would be so much better to have all that stuff in digital form.
Yeah, the book will be eventually scanned, but that won't be as clean.
