The Man of the Year short always gave me a late 90s vibe, almost like Wakko's Wish.


Probably not as late as 1999 though. If anything, the short feels like TMS experimenting with CGI environments.

Anyway, I've just found something in the Japanese Wikipedia that seems to tie TMS with SEGA in 1995, but I'm not sure if it's relevant to this because Google Translate doesn't want to cooperate:

I'm too tired (and about to go to bed) to really try and translate it entirely, myself. The only thing I can really tell you is that it was 1995, something 7 year, November.
