Where's Gamma's '102'? These screenshots date all the way back to these?

That's...actually a really good point. He has his numbers by the AutoDemo...but not here. He doesn't seem to have it in any of the other shots of him in the brochure either. Maybe they just hadn't gotten around to that just yet. I mean, the Froggy cutscene with the E-100 units are all using Gamma as the base anyway, so it'd make sense this was prior to them having done those details.

Anything TGS-related generally has a trend of showing material from earlier builds of the game. Like Sonic's spinball texture had a white slash in the footage, but not in the autodemo. Some differences are cosmetic, while something on the scale of Windy Valley is ridiculous.

I've had this book for close to a year, I thought it wasn't new well.. "news"? It also came with a VHS about the making of Sonic Adventure and the trip to the locales they got inspiration for angel island and the ruins and stuff, also a tote bag and Sonic Adventure clear files, I can provide pictures if you'd like to see the other goods?

I honestly thought Retro had all this info covered.

The booklet was never news to us. We knew it existed. Why is this suddenly a big deal? Because we finally have pictures/scans of the entire booklet which no one has done up until now and will be put in the archive. Why hasn't this been covered up until now? Because we've tried approaching people in the past about archiving certain stuff and they were quick to say no because it might ruin it, the value of it decreases, someone might steal said pictures/scans to claim it as theirs and god knows what else.

If you can provide us with a better quality video of that VHS tape, new good quality pictures/scans of that other stuff, that would be wonderful.

There's an image of the Sky Chase Dragon in there, I'm very fuzzy on the history. Did we know about that boss before it was found by someone looking through the game? If not there was an official image of it all this time. Either way this is an absolute delight to look through and I'm so appreciative that you've been able to share this with us. This is a great time to love Adventure.

Before it was found in-game we knew that it had existed at one point, but much like the Windy Valley Beta we were under the false impression that it was lost to the world.

Something I noticed from the Sky Chase Act 1 shot:

You never go under the Egg Carrier in Act 1, and you never fight a bunch of ZAKO/RENZAKOs at once anywhere in that Act in particular.

The overall layout of the shot seems to be exactly the same as the unused object set file that I discovered in the AutoDemo. Here's what the set file looks like in SADXLVL2 around the area I suspect:

Also, the unused furniture objects are all loaded very far away here:

The dragon is loaded somewhere off as well. I wonder if the object placement in the set file was used primarily for making this screenshot?

I really should make SADXLVL2 display the Egg Carrier model in Sky Chase.
