I did the one thing befitting of Sonic's birthday:

Absolutely nothing. Glorious sleep-in day.

Same. I had planned to stop by 7-11 and grab a chili dog but didn't even do that. Went to sleep around 11, work about around 12:30AM.

What a shame I didn't realize it was his 23rd birthday on a 23rd of June. :specialed: I knew I felt like playing Sonic Advance for some reason today, but I would have marathon'd a few other games too. I only played as Amy, though, I suck like that; always tend to love the support characters more in these kinds of things, usually.

Never done the "chili dog on the anniversary" thing until this one, hopefully I don't die. Gonna be reading some of the comics and playing Generations before work today.

I wonder if Flickies pass out around Sonic sometimes. *bricked*

Gotta love a good chili dog, Sonic's birthday or not. :v: Especially with extra onion, hot sauce, and mustard.

I'll be doing TGC's first ever Super Special Sonic Search & Smash Stream over on my Twitch channel! What has become a yearly tradition for me since 2011, now shared with all of you.

Stream highlight: The best rendition of It Doesn't Matter ever recorded. I have not altered this audio in any way.

Jesus. The Jericho Effect took over Josh's stream.

Josh please tell me you watch nL, otherwise that joke will go right over your head.

But seriously, yeah, the stream had some problems, to say the least, but we still had a ton of fun and played DuckTales for some reason. I could've gotten it all done yesterday, but by 4:30 am the audience had dwindled, so I decided to finish up later today with SA2, '06, Unleashed, Colors, Lost World, and Generations. I also tried my best to troubleshoot and improve the stream. It seemed to be working really well, but of course bandwidth is gonna be a lot better at 5 in the morning.

I created a Sonic-themed driver in GRID 2 and Gran Turismo 6 (blue cars with wheels painted red), but not before re-playing Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed after getting most of the PSN Trophies for the game and using a Notepad file to keep track of my best times.

About Notepad: I've been logging my gaming scores I've accomplished on every platform, dividing both logs into "seasons". My Sonic progress is in my Season 2 log.

There was an image of a cake we used to post for every birthday on this forum and I'm surprised we haven't done one for Sonic himself. I can't find for the life of my any images of that original cake so here's a random one I found on a Google search. Also, hi guys, it's been a long time. =)

I legitimately beat Sonic 1 with all emeralds on hardware, something I haven't done in probably a decade. Then I played Sonic 2 then Blue Spheres with my younger sister.

Did my yearly Sonic 1 full playthrough with all emeralds. I'm getting rusty; I remember that I used to be able to complete it in about 30-40 minutes in the past but this time it took me 1h03m40s.

I did a pretty casual run of Sonic 1, not expecting to get any Emeralds due to lack of skill/experience with that particular Special Stage, but ended the game with five, getting screwed out of number six right before the goal in SBZ2. I lounged around the rest of the day though, watching reruns of stuff. At one point I gave my Tails plush a turban and made a Tailiban joke on Facebook.

I didn't do much else. I popped Sonic 3 & Knuckles into the Genesis, but passed out before I got around to playing it. Maybe today sometime.

There isn't a giant ring in Scrap Brain Zone period. :v:

There were obviously giant rings in Scrap Brain zone because it was a Sonic birthday miracle :ruby:/>

I swear I've seen a giant ring appear in SBZ1 in the past. I don't know how or why it happened, but I remember how shocked I was when I saw it. So shocked I missed it since I didn't expect it.

I can't believe I actually ended up playing all the way through Spinball SMS on my Mega Drive, out of curiosity. Dear god why.

I just played a bit of Sonic Adventure 2 on the PC and watched SEGAbits' live stream of Sonic 2, and a tiny bit of Sonic Adventure. Other than that I had to work, so I didn't really have much time to celebrate Sonic's birthday this year. :v:
