It's not from a shop, I never heard you can rent arcades from malls....if that possible, it would be better, yes. Thanks from the idea
Well, I mean, the mall owners might be renting it from somewhere else.
I remember that, at least some time ago, those machines used to have a sheet of paper stuck somewhere with all the details, so unless the related Spanish laws have changed, it might be a good thing to look for such thing on any outside and inside surfaces.

I remember those sheets too, but I don't know if they are related to kiddy rides too...at least, I don't remember any kiddy ride with one of them. Will take a look before doing anything else, thanks!

I kinda want to see what kind of price you can negotiate. It's not much, but I can contribute 20 €.
I can toss about $20 USD in as well if it comes down to that, even if it doesn't I hope this results in something.

I don't know about Spain, but here in the US a lot of malls, restaurants, stores, etc rent arcade cabinets, kiddy rides, and other general amusements from warehouses that specialize in them. There's a Burger King by my dad's house that has a full arcade in it with several Neo Geo cabinets and I asked the manager what the deal was with them and she said they rented them from a warehouse out of Brooklyn. That could be the case here, but you can easily talk to mall management and find out everything you need to know about who owns the machine and any contact info needed. Whatever you do, when negotiating over it with whoever owns it don't explain to them that it's rare. Just say you're interested in it and that you used to play on it as a kid and now want it for your own kids or something like that. If they don't already know it's rare then they'll probably sell it to you for a reasonable price, especially considering that it's broken.

Yeah, that's how things used to work at least back in the old days, but it's been a while since the last time I saw/entered one of those warehouses (which is where I saw the Mega-Tech version of Tetris for the first time, by the way).

Is this still a thing? I could pitch in between 20 and 40 USD. I'd love to see this dumped.

Please let us know when you get a price from the owner. Would be glad to pitch in.

This is not the same Patrol Car I've spotted, but there is another chance to get one. I had still not the chance to arrange anything with the one I spotted. Maybe this one might be a little easier?. The price is 466$, but the shipping costs overseas and finding the place to keep the machine might be the hardest problem. That thing is huge...

Wow. I'm surprised one of these still exists.
Repairing it shouldn't be hard for arcade and JAMMA enthusiasts. I bet certain collectors would pay a bunch for a refurbished machine. From your pictures it looks like the machine is in really good condition aside from some of the controls. You should totally buy it and sell it at a profit when you're done. I'd start with a lowball offer of like 200 and double it if they refuse. I doubt they will after you tell them it's mostly broken and needs another 100ish in repair work.
For dumping it I would talk to the MAME crowd. They'd have a better idea of that sort of thing and they'd love to add it to the collection.

I saw this link posted elsewhere and was looking into attempting to get it somehow.
I think getting it dumped would be simple enough.
