Long story short, I was trying to rip audio from a PS2 game, and I couldn't find the files I wanted in the standard PS2 audio format. However, there were a bunch of IRX files in another spot, one of which was labelled SONYWAVE.IRX, which I'm assuming the sounds I want are. Is there any way to crack these types of files open?

I'm not sure the IRX files are what you want. They appear to be executables. There's a possibility they could be in there, but I doubt it. Depending on the number of sounds, the file should be rather large if they are there.

IRX files are drivers that run on the IOP, so I can say with near certainty that the audio is not in that file.
