So I'd like to openly ask here if any skilled person would like to join me in my quest of making an ultimate classic Sonic fangame. A MMF2 user would great but the project is also in need in good spriters, musicians and level designers. Practically anyone who's passionate and is skillful (or at least descent) in anything fangamemaking related.[/b]
I don't see any mention of voice actors. You aren't going to have sonic say "woo" every time he jumps off a ramp?

I like what I see, however I have three suggestions.
1. The background looks a bit static and doesn't have the same movement as the Mega Drive games had.
2. Zoom the camera in a bit more. Wide screen Sonic is nice and all, and it can still be wide screen, but showing too much at once makes it look lazy.
3. The Advance title card, end of act text, and HUD has no place in a game calling itself Sonic Mega Drive (work name or not).
I'm sure this is all tentative stuff but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Might want to change the rings as well. They stick out like a sore thumb.
This looks great, though! Impressive stuff to see right-out-the-gate.

Yeah HUD is just a Sonic Fusion leftover.
Also I'll think what I can do to rings. I like fluid animation of Advance ring but palette indeed should be tweaked.

That could help. I think the rings from Knuckle's Chaotix have more rotation frames as well, so you have options.

You're going to want to put some more thought into the "Green First Level" thing you've got going on there. There is practically nothing about it that stands out.

I dunno, I think the graphics are so fabulous that I'm willing to forgive having another Green Hill Zone. Though I certainly wouldn't mind a more exciting background.
Anyway, this looks sofa king good. :'D I might be interested in pitching in with level design, boss design and/or implementing additional characters. Been meaning to try something new for a future SAGE but I'd rather not make an entire fangame.

Consider more colour in your foregrounds - at the moment it just looks like you're using two hues - a yellowy-brown and a yellowy-green.

The graphics seem awfully familiar... are they re-purposed art?
I swear I've seen them somewhere...

Yeah they are. I'm a shitty spriter myself
How do you like this HUD, guys?
Also I'm still in search for people!
Especially level designers

I liked a bit of what I saw. Not too wild about OPENING BEACH LEVEL OF NONDESCRIPT PERSONALITY but that's probably more due to reused assets and the zoomed out camera. A more zoomed out style isn't bad, but it definitely needs tweaks, and extra layers to bring it to life. The work put into fixing up the engine from Sonic Fusion is pretty neat and it's cool to see MMF stuff that isn't Worlds. I dug some of the level design cues putting the physics to work instead of forcing you to fight them. I particularly liked the change to how Sonic launches off sideways springs for some reason.
I'd offer to help, but I'm more of the dreaded "idea guy" than a skilled implementor at this point in time. The most I do is test out random ideas for level design to see what works and what doesn't. If I was better at art my project would be off the ground by now.

So here is new new HUD. I'm gonna make it possible to chose between traditional HUD and modernized HUD. Any thoughts?
