I just came across these neat Earthworm Jim
model sheets and
sketches, and they seem to come from some SEGA magazine/guide/something official that I can't find any info about.
If this content is any indication, there might be some other cool stuff in there. Any clues on what it might be?
Those two colored drawings (in shades of gray, here) seem to be the actual
pre-scanning-phase in-game sprites, by the way.

I remember some guy on the Unseen64 forums got a lot of these sketches like these from someone who worked on the game. I don't know if the post is still archived or if these specific pics came from there, though.

I remember those sketches too, which were pretty cool... despite the watermarks that were sadly pasted right in the middle of them. But those were actual internal documents from Shiny, whereas this seems to be more of a SEGA thing judging from the small Sonics around the page numbers.
Probably something they sent to their licensees, so they could get an idea on how the best games for the system were made?

I think I used to own this book. Dunno if I still have it.
Yeah, it was pretty interesting. Behind-the-scenes sketches of Earthworm Jim and Eternal Champions, as I recall.

Cool, do you remember where did you get it? Was it just sold in stores?

Pretty sure I just found it in the bookstores, yeah. Wonder how rare it is now?
It was pretty interesting from a young kid's perspective. Went into great detail about tile-based level design and such.
