Dear Sonic Retro,

I clipped the cable from my fried SNES Power Supply. It was a knockoff 3 in 1 Myiico Brand NES/Genesis/SNES Adapter. I want to make my own out of one of the infinite wall warts I have in my collection.

I need amperage, wattage, voltage, reccomendations, help, weed, beer, water, food, shelter, the internet et al.

Thanks,
Lobotomy

Which region is the SNES? American consoles and PAL consoles both use different adapters, I believe the US uses DC current where the UK uses AC. The UK power supply I have is the stock one and outputs 9V AC current with a maximum rating of 1.3A.

NTSC SNES uses DC in, while PAL SNES uses AC in. Why? Who knows.

Specifications for the US SNES AC adapter: 10V DC, 850 mA, negative tip. (You may need to bring the system with you to the store in order to determine the correct size for the connector.)
