Also there'll be thousands of pages just for games. You've got the PC Engine (and CD) and PC-FX, but there's also all the 80s computers - the PC-8001, PC-6001, PC-8801, PC-9801, all the variants and of course all the stuff NEC published for other systems during the 90s.

You're right in that it's obviously not what NEC is famous for.
But yes, I'm thinking the 80s computers through the PC-FX and maaaaybe MobilePro.

It might be easier to think of it as the Japanese equivalent of doing a "Commodore Retro". Where your PC-88 is the Commodore 64 and the PC-98 is the Amiga, etc.

Is it wrong that I'm not intimidated, then? :P If anything, I think of this as a slightly more sane project than DOCUMENT AN ENTIRE MULTINATIONAL COMPANY.

I didn't think it was possible for 5.25 inch floppies to be cool

I've browsed some of what of those game libraries were dumped earlier.
I ended up really bugging out "Nintendo Golf" by Hudson Soft.

Oh don't get me wrong it's a wonderful idea and I want to throw images at it.
Just don't expect it to be done exceedingly quickly - there were lists of Mega Drive games
Also, and this won't be nice but
You might have to take a Wikimedia Commons approach with some of this. It seems silly to host things on Sega Retro and then duplicate them on... "NEC Retro" (which I might start calling "Neck-retro" if it happens because abbreviations smell) .

Updated with another alternative version that is particularly rare - possibly
EDIT: Just checked the front of the disc and it says "Road Blaster"
Note: I don't own this, I was just made aware of it by a guy who used to own it.
