I got one of these things

PAL version, no box.

Do we have any modding info on these? Setting it to 60hz, fixing the psg volume, perhaps changing the internal rom?

For that matter is the internal rom dumped?

From the "New Genesis (Sega Genesis Classic Console)" thread

You know what's sad? There used to be a line of console-on-a-chip Genesis clones that actually had competent sound emulation inside. However, the circuitry in the output department was so bad you'd never hear it properly.

Radica 6-in-1

From the video's description: "All I did was cut a trace and solder two wires... No excuse for it not being this way from the factory."

This just deals with the sound, but it is something. It is also the US version (obviously) but that shouldn't matter much.

Sounds doable. I'd also like to make this thing output 60hz and stereo audio. The latter may not be possible, I have to check the schematics for the a/v encoder.
I'll try digging up the rom from it. It might be glued down though...

edit: haha, no a/v encoder. seems to be integrated.
