What level tropes would specific characters call home? And where would they be out of their element?

I'm touching a little on what people already said... but this topic REALLY has me intrigued, as I always loved the idea of a Sonic card game...
FIRST... I think outer space should be a special trope that negatively affects all but certain characters (Eggman, Super characters... and the like)

Sonic +: Tropical, City
Sonic -: Water, Sky, Winter (Speaking as a runner myself, winter and cold tend to work against runners)

Tails +: Sky, Mechanical
Tails -: Cave, Haunted

Knuckles +: Cave, Ruins
Knuckles -: Mechanical, Haunted, Casino

Amy +: Casino, City
Amy -: Mechanical

Big +: Jungle, Tropical
Big -: City, Mechanical

Shadow +: Either no boost, or a minimal boost for ALMOST all tropes
Shadow -: Outer Space - His fall from outer space... AND a line he dropped in Egg Fleet (Sonic Heroes) suggests a fear of space.

Espio +: Jungle, Haunted (Being a master of illusions, I feel it's a fit for him)
Espio -: Winter - For reasons stated above.
That's all I can think of right now...

ALSO, are the zone trope elements themselves the cards? Or will you have different zone cards that share trope elements themselves? Just curious...

Wouldn't Espio be weak in "Sky" environments, since there would be far less places to hide in the air? Snowy environments would make great places to hide and sneak around, because the area would mostly be monochrome (white).

Currently making card mock-ups in Magic Set Editor, relying on the wiki here as a great image resource for a lot of things. Here's Lava Reef as an example:

There are many "Zone cards", that have their representative tropes denoted on the card. Basically, there's a Zone out at all times (and it cycles every couple turns), and the characters will receive their respective nerfs or buffs accordingly when applicable (which is a simple +1 or -1 to all 4 stats respectively).

As for Shadow, I've kind of warmed up immensely to the idea of him not being weak anywhere, what with being the "Ultimate" life form.
