Woah wait I haven't even played Persona 4 yet hold up.

So, the announcements are streaming as we speak, and so far:

* The 3DS gets a Person RPG spin-off called "Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth". It's basically Person mixed with the original SMT SNES games or Etrian Odyssey, with the casts of P3/P4 in chibi form.
* The Vita gets... A fucking Persona 4 dancing game, called "Persona 4 Dancing All Night". I'm serious. It's apparently in English, and might come west.
* Persona 4 Arena Ultimax has Adachi confirmed for playable, basically.

More announcements as they come, gents.

I'm just saying, they really don't have that much of an excuse to not port stuff over multiplatform at this point, what with the mainline Persona games being mostly standalone. If they don't want to take the risk at retail with other platforms, then just release it digital-only on those platforms - virtually no risk, that way, due to the lack of need for stock and no retail costs. Unfortunately, porting over is a bit more of a pain from the PS3 due to Sony's shitty console architecture, but I think fans with those other systems would appreciate it even if the ports are digital-only.

This sort of thing is kinda why I'm not exactly adverse to a digital-only future... Well, a digital-only future that's more like what's on PC rather than consoles.

360 is irrelevant in Japan, and even worldwide JRPGs sell better on PS3, and literally every main-series Persona game has been PS-exclusive. There is no reason they would port to 360 except to appease you.

Who said anything about the 360? I'd actually prefer a Wii U or PC port.

OH WELL I guess I'm gonna have to wait until the PS3 is dirt cheap. Which wouldn't be an issue if the PS4 had backwards compatibility, darn it.

Turned this into Persona General with all of these Persona 3/4 spin-off games coming out as well.

Seeing how we don't really know anything about Persona 5 except for that it's for PS3 and it has a lot of red, I'm more excited for Persona Q at this point. Hopefully it won't take ages for these games to come out in Europe. The general description for it seems to be Persona x Etrian Odyssey, I've never played the latter game though.
