You sly devil you. I feel like I'm trolling the level more than actually painting it. :P

Just did a single playthrough, only for it to glitch out at the credits. Still like it though of course.

This seems a fun new concept... well, got a business trip in a couple of days, this will make for a good time killer. I just wonder how it would look on Gensoid... XD

Don't have a lot of time today but did do a brief play of GHZ - very impressive! The sheer amount of RAM this must be taking up is mind boggling =P

I was thinking about something completely different when I saw the title of the thread...

This is a great hack. I lost my last life in Star Light Zone, and it didn't show me my final score, which pissed me off to no end.
Also had a serious glitch in Marble Zone 1; those things that go up and down were invisible, so first I couldn't get past, and then I got crushed. It worked right on my next life. Don't have a savestate, sorry :/
Likewise. A small part of me was hoping this would turn out to be a Mario Paint hack.

Some of us are at work and can't play a ROM right now. What exactly are we missing out on?

Yeah, I thought the same initially.
But this hack is incredible. I'm extremely curious on how this was even pulled off! I kinda want to find out what the limits are with this...

I did not think Mario Paint, but something completely different. Some people probably know exactly what :P

It's basically Sonic 1, you play each act of each zone (in order), and within each act, you get given the time limit of 1 minute. As Sonic moves around the levels, he leaves a marked trail painted red (nothing fancy graphically, I didn't have the VRAM space, but you get the idea), your goal is to mark as much of each level as possible within 1 minute.
I would love to see how you all did in terms of scores, anyone fancy posting screenies?

I'm certain many of us were (Markey spawning millions of terrible music compositions on Youtube? :P).
Cool concept (slightly reminiscent of another Mario minigame actually). Got a pretty lame score overall. Works pretty well in Sonic 1's wide open and easily backtrackable levels.
