I have, nudge towards the empty end of the seesaw, and you go to the goddamn moon sometimes. dunno if it's the slope physics going mental or what, but its possible.

I'm starting to think that we're talking about different things here. I can't get the results you describe when Sonic is in the middle of the seesaw (when it's in horizontal position).

Just use Time Attack. If you want Super Sonic, you'll have to cheat since he was never in the game in the first place.

My main point was, what if I wanted to go back and collect the Chaos Emeralds? The Special Stage controls aren't exactly precise, and I know I'm not the only one who didn't collect all the Emeralds on the first run through. S3&K lets you go back, and I think Sonic 1 and Sonic CD should let you go back and collect the Emeralds/Time Stones, too.

Is there any way to access the awsome Easter Eggs (such as the 7th Chaos Emerald, Sonic 3 shields) in a Save game? There was a way to glitch these features into a save game, but it doesn't seem to work in the latest update.

If not, then could accessing the Easter Eggs in Save mode be a feature request?
These features make the game feel fresh and new. However, I am sure a lot of players don't have the time to play the game in a single sitting (especially when trying to access the 7th Emerald).

...no it doesn't? I just downloaded the update and the instashield still does zilch here.

Why won't my game save? Everything worked fine before, then I reset my phone. Since redownloading Sonic 1, it won't ever save.

You're probably missing the folders the game expects to be able to store its save data in since resetting the phone. It should be something like "mnt/Android/Data/" IIRC.

I have that folder, but its in mnt/sdcard/Android/data. Then it goes com.sega.sonic1/files/sgame.bin. Should I try deleting this folder? Cause uninstalling and redownloading doesn't help.

Something else. The Labyrinth blocks and the Switches don't seem to have the same width in their collision boxes, leading to this situation:

This area in Labyrinth required the player to accurately aim Sonic towards the top of the switch from the nearby spring, but due to this he'll just be able to stand right there if he misses.

Well it doesn't in the iOS version- I know this for a fact.

Since the update of the Android version, the game runs a bit weird for me (Samsung S3). It looks like the game runs with frameskip and the image isn't smooth sometimes (for example, is very noticeable inside the loopings of GHZ). I don't remember this with the previous version.

Anyone knows if the save is lost if you install the previous version over the new with the .apk?
