The first issue of Sega Visions pre-dates Sonic by an entire year - I'm not even sure the game had entered into production in June/July 1990

The magazine looks like it has a June/July 1990 date on the cover which does pre-date Sonic by a year or so.
As for the artwork I've just been collecting unique videogame items for a long time.
