Spaceship rebuilt from the new leak, using only .def and .pcx map layout files as a guide. Its running in UDk here, there are a lot of sonic sprites placed around the level which is kind of odd.
I believe the level was not originally playable, it was just a camera fly threw area.

Regardless of whether that area is for a camera test, it looks interesting towards the top (with the bright streaks of lines).
Also, I sincerely apologize if this seems rude of the internet, but why do you spell "through" that way?

Updates! All the beta rings are in AXSX now. I don't think you guys seen these in action before, some of them have never been seen like the gold ring in front of Sonic's face.
They are various sizes and heights off of the ground here giving the illusion that some are deeper into the background than others, ( they are all aligned in a strait row though)
Have not had as much time to work AXSX with other tasks at hand, like cleaning up the original levels for a future release from JollyRoger and his engine builds.
( To the left is the regular ring from the later builds of the engine that you are all familiar with)

Interesting! The one on the far left is definitely the best, and the one in front of Sonic's face is the worst... it looks like it's made of cheese :P

The ring on the far right is quite interesting as it rotates in a vertical fashion, as opposed to a horizontal fashion. I don't think that ring rotation design has ever been used in the series-mainstream, handheld, or otherwise. Heck, I don't think any fangames or hacks I've seen or played had rings move in that fashion either!

I have to say that I agree with TheKazeBlade, the far left Ring looks the best. It's the only one with a nice metallic shine to it. All of the other ones look too brightly colored, and the one directly in front of Sonic's face looks... Well, it makes me think of those weird-shaped Cheetos.

That far left ring has been my favorite for years now, and that's comparing to any Sonic game out there.

New Monitor textures....
And the older ones...
And the even older placeholder textures on the left.

Making the destroyed mesh was harder than I thought it'd be, at first I modeled out the mesh in 3D and planned to bake the textures to a low res texture for a low res model, That did not work out so well at all, so instead I ended up hand painting the texture in photoshop.
Left is the Model I used in GHZ 2.5D , it was used as a temp for AXSX monitors.
and right is the new monitors and textures.
I'm still not super happy with how the destroyed mesh turned out, may attempt it again in the future.

Random Texture artwork I did today that will be used in Time Twisted and AXSX although it will be modified on a per layer basis to look 16 bit by Overbound for his Time Twisted project.
( so yeah the end result will look quite different between each project)
These 3 images are not made to tile with eachother, they will however tile with themselves. Butttt... they look as they can almost tile together because the background layer tiles.
They were set up with multiple layers, so that when Sonic moves around the level, the layers will than pan around creating an oldschool parallax effect.

Nice! Reminds me of old Psygnosis art.
