FAQ
Is the Big Blue a sequel to Ecco the Dolphin?
No. While we are the same creative and development team that created the original Ecco the Dolphin games, the Big Blue is a whole new universe. It's Bigger and more contemporary than the classic game, Ecco the Dolphin.

I'm guessing seapunk isn't as popular as everyone thought it would be?

They didn't get it.
They're thinking of coming up with something cheaper though.

Bumpish, but this is interesting news. After searching around for The Tides of Time's storyline and proceeding to get my brain handed to me in the form of mush, I came across
this. Annunziata states he'll try to develop a small game, The Little Blue, and then open another Kickstarter campaign towards turning that Little Blue into The Big Blue.
